Love your endocannabinoid system

Balance is key
The endocannabinoid system ensures our body is in balance. It regulates numerous body functions, such as sleep, pain, inflammation, immune system, stress, and mood. It also protects our neurological system and strengthens our brain functions. It could be argued that the endocannabinoid system is the body's conductor, making sure that all its elements remain in harmony.

We all have cannabinoids in our bodies
Endocannabinoids, which are responsible for communication between cells, tissues and organs, are produced naturally in our bodies. They act as a ‘brake’ that soothes our nervous system and prevents the overload of cells, especially when we are under severe stress, are ill or in pain.

CBD oil helps maintain a balanced state
If our body is frequently under stress and is unable to produce enough of its own cannabinoids, they can also be taken externally in the form of hemp resin or drops. Phytocannabinoids, which are extracted from the cannabis plant, are able to bind to the same receptors as endocannabinoids and consequently the cells recognise and accept them and the immune system is brought back into balance.

The most efficient way to take CBD oil
CBD is absorbed into the bloodstream through the mucous membrane, so it can travel to the places where it needs to work. This is why we strongly advise it should be taken under the tongue or inside your cheeks and then left for a minute before being swallowed. If CBD is taken in a drink or swallowed directly, it goes directly into the stomach, where it will be processed and very little of it will be absorbed into the bloodstream.

Everyone is unique
Everyone is different, so there is no one-size-fits-all dosage. We recommend the up-titration method for everyone. Start with the lowest possible dose. For the first week you should monitor your body and mood, to allow yourself time to adapt to cannabinoids. Then the dose can be raised gradually, keeping it at the same level for a few days, then raised again.
