Another year is drawing to a close and a new one is already ready, waiting and generously inviting new beginnings.
It seems as if it was just yesterday that we were putting together similar lines; the days and weeks have flown by so quickly that we are already in December and with it Christmas lights, wishes, memories of the year that is drawing to a close and plans for the new year ahead.
As befits the end of the year, here at Hemptouch we are also taking a look back over the past 12 months and thinking about what the past year has brought us; what we’ve achieved and what we still want to achieve.
At Hemptouch we are dedicated to creating products that provide users with changes for the better on a daily basis. We are able to make our mission a reality with the help of the exceptional power of hemp. Hemp extracts help to support our body and skin holistically and bring lasting solutions when it comes to alleviating many problems.

Every product requires time; from concept to the first samples, testing, refining and improving, checking the suitability and finally launching and waiting for your valuable opinions. It sounds simple but it's not…at least not always. In the search for effective, perfect products that users love, there are quite a few compromises, important details and little things that take their time. And that's as it should be, because this is the only way we can absolutely and proudly provide our customers with innovative products.
Which innovations became a reality in the year 2022?
With the greatest joy and enthusiasm we launched three innovative products in 2022, although we could almost say four, as we have already taken a leap into the hustle and bustle of the new year with an innovation;
- CBD Hand Cream – a favourite among all those with sensitive and dry skin on the hands.

- The next part of the year was all about our Pristine Forest Body Lotion, which we gave a light Mediterranean fragrance – a blend of essential oils of lemon, lavender and laurel. - Skin care is our main concern, and we have already launched quite a few products for this purpose, but what was really lacking was a product that we can all use on a daily basis and which plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the skin. It's a shower product – you asked for it, and we created it for you! We are proud of the newest member of Hemptouch – Comforting Cream Body Wash, which cleans, soothes and softens skin while showering. As in past years, this year our products were noticed by established and recognised international awards, of which we are immensely proud time and again. Competing alongside well-established cosmetic brands and winning flattering titles isn't something we take lightly.
We respect nature and adhere to sustainable values
We are continuing our positive environmental practices and strive for them to be increasingly ambitious, to tackle them with sincere intentions and to have concrete plans. This is how, step by step, we will achieve changes that may not change the planet, but will perhaps contribute to keeping it as it is as much as possible.
- In the year 2022, 67% of our plastic bottles were made from 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled) recycled plastic with the PET symbol.
- Our packing boxes are made from 100% recycled and 100% recyclable cardboard. This not only means that the material used to produce the boxes has been used at least once, but also that it can be reused and recycled.
- None of our products contain microplastics. Testament to this is the Zero Plastic Inside certificate, which was awarded to us by the Plastic Soup Foundation, which is engaged in trying to tackle pollution of the environment with plastic.
- The Vegan and Natrue certificates both ensure that not only are the ingredients that we use in are products vegan and of natural origin, but also full transparency of the processes and origin of the ingredients, which must meet the high criteria of both organisations.
- All our products are created in Slovenia, not far from our hemp field, which enables us to have a short production chain, which is thus less burdonsome on the environment. We also choose local ingredients as much as possible. We only look outside our borders in exceptional cases, when there really isn't a herb or oil nearby that would serve the desired purpose.
