Can CBD help with skin problems?
CBD cannabinoid has the ability to activate our own endocannabinoid system. Phytocannabinoids - hemp cannabinoids - are cannabinoid molecules that closely resemble endocannabinoids found in our organism. Endocannabinoids coordinate the functioning of the whole organism and help the body when it needs support to maintain its health and well-being. In psoriasis, the production of keratinocytes in the skin’s epidermis is too fast, but cannabinoids slow it down and eventually normalise it, which leads to a reduction of scaly skin.

Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease in which skin cells divide at an accelerated rate. Atopic dermatitis
Dermatitis is an inflammatory skin disease that most commonly occurs in children. It affects around 10% of children up to the age of six. It usually appears during the colder months and is characterised by red rashes and severe itching.
