Once or twice daily, apply to clean face and neck, follow with a moisturizer. Start with 1/2 pump, evenly massaging it over the entire face every other day, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Gradually increase the dosage to a full pump daily. We recommend applying the serum in targeted areas for a more even application. For daytime use, always follow with a sunscreen.
A gentle tingling sensation may occur, which subsides shortly. In case of more intense irritation, temporarily discontinue use and try again in a few days, with a thinner application over the cream every 2 to 3 days. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Azelaic acid is one of the few active ingredients that is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is excellent for very sensitive skin, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, and acne. All of these conditions often arise as a response to hormonal changes during pregnancy. Azelaic acid is highly effective in treating outbreaks of pregnancy melasma, which is hormone-induced hyperpigmentation.
In the initial phase of introducing the azelaic acid to the skin, especially if it is not accustomed to concentrated formulations, we recommend applying half a fingertip amount. As your skin adapts, feel free to increase the quantity to a full fingertip or approximately the size of a pea for the entire face. Evenly apply the serum across the entire face.
In the second phase, we recommend applying a small amount of serum in an additional layer directly to the problem areas affected by hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne, clogged pores, or post-inflammatory acne marks. Allow it to absorb completely then follow with moisturiser and sunscreen in your morning routine.
In case of very sensitive and reactive skin, introduce the Skin Perfection Azelaic Serum gradually to give your skin time to adjust. We recommend starting by using the serum every other or every third day. After 14 days, transition to daily use (morning or evening), and after another 14 days, continue using it both in the morning and evening. In case of a more intense reaction during the initial phase of application, we recommend, as an exception, to apply the serum after your moisturiser. Allow it to fully absorb and end your mourning routine with a sunscreen. With regular use of the Skin Perfection Azelaic Serum, you will strengthen the skin's microbiome to the extent that you can significantly increase the skin's resistance and perhaps even introduce actives that you couldn't use before due to sensitivity.
